Five-O Fest

Ever wanted to meet a cop without the handcuffs? Your chance has come with this year’s Five-O Fest! The Fest is a free community concert and festival for youth and their families that features music, art, food and tons of other fun activities and giveaways. The event is held on the plaza of the Public Safety Building in SLC. Five-O Fest is a fantastic opportunity for you to meet your local police officers and community organizations. The theme for this year is community health—we have booths and activities that focus on building community health and wellbeing. Some of those activities include: • KSL’s Read Today program & Deanie Wimmer • Demonstrations by the Police SWAT team, K9 unit, and motorcycle squad • A “petting zoo” of musical instruments from the Legacy Music Alliance • Yoga, Zumba, Karate, climbing wall • UMOCA art truck • Healthy food cooking demos • Live music • Delicious food vendors • Tons of free giveaways
