Small Bug Sculpture and Terrarium Workshop

In this workshop you will learn how to make your own small scale insect sculptures and install them into a terrarium you fill with local dried plants. We will start the workshop with making a wire armature to build our clay sculptures onto. After finishing your insects, we will arrange an environment to house them in. This workshop is a part of BugFest, a weekend-long festival featuring entomology experts, live insects, and bug-themed fun at the Natural History Museum of Utah, August 8-9, 2026.
