NHMU: Foothill Nature Walk 6/18

Join us for a free 1-hour guided hike starting at the Museum and leading up the Bonneville Shoreline Trail.

Have you ever wondered what kinds of plants you see on the trail? Or snapped a picture of a bug to identify it later? If so, then the Foothill Nature Walks are just for you! Join us for a free 1-hour guided hike starting at Red Butte Garden and walking through their beautiful space. Come and enjoy a spectacular view of the Salt Lake Valley with experts in botany, etymology, local wildlife, and more! Event Details: Accessibility Walk This walk will feature an ASL interpreter This walk is wheelchair and walker friendly with paved pathways Free to attend *Museum and Red butte Garden admission not included First come first serve and capped at 20 Before You Go: Arrive early to check in The trail is relatively sun exposed so bring water and sunscreen Before you join us please be aware that all participants must sign a waiver which can be found here: https://nhmu.utah.edu/events/foothill-nature-walk-618 

We recommend that you sign this in advance and bring it with you. Printed copies will also be available on site the day of the walk. Get ready to learn about the native plant life at the incredible Red Butte Gardens!
