AirMed Helicopter to Land in Sandy
The UofU AirMed helicopter will land at the ARUP Blood Services' Sandy Donor Center. Meet the crew, donate blood, take photos.
On Saturday, October 21, at 10 a.m., the UofU AirMed helicopter will land at the ARUP Blood Services' Sandy Blood Donor Center. Blood collected via ARUP is flown on the AirMed helicopter to transfuse in trauma patients who are being transported to the hospital. Meet the crew, take photos, see the helicopter up close. Also, sign up to donate blood from 7:30a-2:30p. Call 801-584-5272 to schedule donation appointment. We are raffling off one ride on the helicopter (on a later date, and some restrictions apply). Each adult attendee will get an entry. Get additional entries by wearing red, bringing a friend, bringing an elected official, tagging UtahBlood on social media. Free Community Event.
