Craft Lake City STEM Labs Workshop: Chlorophyll Printing

Red Butte Garden and Craft Lake City are collaborating to bring family-friendly botanical art and life science together, using the photo-sensitive nature of chlorophyll to build a deeper understanding of the natural world through organic print-making. This workshop will be instructed and lead by Craft Lake City STEM Manager Lyndi Perry and Red Butte Garden Educator Jasmine Millard. Lyndi has a Master’s degree in bioregional planning and enjoys exploring the unique cross section between creativity and science, technology, engineering and math and creating learning experiences for all ages as part of her position at Craft Lake City. Jasmine graduated from the University of Utah dual majoring in Geography and Environmental and Sustainability Studies. She has since used her knowledge of the natural world being an environmental educator, working with children and adults throughout the state of Utah. Tickets are $52 for Garden Members and $65 for Non-Members.
