canSURVIVE 2018- Two Weeks Away Needs Beyond Medicine preparing for tenth annual fundraiser Salt Lake City, UT (October 19, 2018)– The tenth annual fundraiser, canSURVIVE is two weeks away. Needs Beyond Medicine is preparing for this event and a major unveiling during the event. The event will be held at the Falls Event Center, Salt Lake (580 South 600 East, Salt Lake City) on Friday, November 2, 2018. The doors will open at 5:00 pm and go until 9:30 pm with speakers beginning at 7:45 pm. Cost is by donation at the door, we are asking for a minimum of $10 for celebration of the tenth anniversary. “We are excited for this year’s event, as all of the money raised from the event will go towards the Relief Program,” said JB Flinders, Board Chairman of Needs Beyond Medicine. “The program assists current cancer patients with non-medical expenses such as, rent, groceries, transportation, etc.” During the event there is a cancer survivor photo gallery stroll, silent auction, raffle items, educational materials and a program. canSURVIVE is made possible by the generous sponsors. 2018 sponsors include, Sorenson Legacy Foundation- presenting, The Falls Event Center- venue sponsor.
