Live Your Dream Fashion Show

The Salt Lake Soroptimist Club will host its annual Live Your Dream Fundraiser on Saturday, April 8, 2016, at 11:30 AM at the Cottonwood Country Club, 1780 East Lakewood Drive, Holladay, Utah. This year’s event will feature a Fashion Show with fashions from Christopher and Banks, along with a luncheon and silent auction. Models will include former Live Your Dream Award winners. Funds raised at this event will go to support Soroptimist International of Salt Lake’s programs benefiting women and girls, including the Live Your Dream Award. The Soroptimist Live Your Dream Award assists women who provide the primary source of financial support for their families by giving them the resources they need to improve their education, skills and employment prospects. Soroptimist is a global women’s organization whose members volunteer to improve the lives of women and girls through programs leading to social and economic empowerment. More than 80,000 Soroptimists in 130 countries and territories support community-based and global projects benefiting women and girls. The organization is particularly concerned with providing women and girls access to education, as this is the most effective path to self-determination. The name Soroptimist means “best for women,” and that’s what the organization strives to achieve. Soroptimists are women at their best, working to help other women to be their best.
