What was meant to be the home of Lois Ketcher, the mother of Stan Ketcher, BeeHive owner, actually became "the founding purpose behind Beehive Homes of Draper,” Ketcher says. Our goal is “to offer homes to moms and dads, grandmas and grandpas.” The family had highly anticipated Lois becoming the first resident, but she passed away March 7, 2010, just weeks before the opening. Stan Ketcher, owner and manager, has applied many years of experience in creating a home that offers the latest in senior living design. “Our long, country-style front porch lets residents enjoy the outdoors in a protected environment.” Another innovation, according to Ketcher, is the natural light sunrooms that promote mental health. Each bedroom is equipped with a private bath with bidet, satellite television, wireless Internet access, and an emergency call system.
