Human Trafficking Panel Discussion
Building Awareness of a Global Problem
Soroptimist International of Salt Lake is hosting a Panel Discussion on Human Trafficking on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at 6:30 PM. We invite the public to join us and learn about the trafficking of women and girls worldwide and what can be done to end this problem.
Panelists include Kathleen Franchek-Roa, MD, Member of Utah Trafficking in Persons Task Force (UTIP),
Tammie Garcia Atkin, Victim/Witness Coordinator, Office of the Utah Attorney General, Chair of the UTIP,
Gregory Ferbrache, JD, Co-Commander of the UTIP,
Leo Lucey, Chief of Investigations, Office of the Utah Attorney General, Co-Commander of the UTIP, and
Amy Thurston or Elizabeth Hendricks, Program managers at the Asian Association, Refuge and Immigration Center.
