Salt Lake City Fire Department Opens its newest fire station
On May 17, Salt Lake City Fire Department will dedicate a new station, Station No. 14, making it the second fire station in the country to be built as a Net Zero energy building. It is also expected to beET-ZERO, LEED-certified, as LEED Gold building. Because of the building’s exceptional sustainability features, the structure will generate as much energy on-site as it uses annually.
