Brain Injury Alliance of Utah's 28th Annual Family & Professionals Conference

Brain Injury Survivors, Family Members & Professionals Join Together to Build Connections for a Brighter Tomorrow

The Brain Injury Alliance of Utah (BIAU) invites survivors, caregivers and providers to its 28th Annual Family & Professionals Conference at the Davis Conference Center in Layton, Utah on Friday, October 13, 2017. Tickets are available at www.biau.org and range from $40 – $195. This year’s conference keynote speaker, Mark L. Fox, SLP, Facility Director for Intermountain Medical Center Neuro Therapy Services, shares his desired takeaway from his talk entitled Navigating the Challenges of Recovery Together & Finding Joy in the Journey. “One of the most important components of the recovery process is understanding the changes that occur as a result of brain injury, acceptance of those changes and redefining the process we utilize to achieve our goals.” The hope is that all involved will be drawn closer together so that strategies and tools can be used to foster success not just for the survivor, but for everyone involved in the rehabilitation process.
