Granite School District Bus Ad Contest Award Announcement

A handful of colorful advertisements are adding a splash of personality to the familiar yellow and black color scheme on Granite school buses. These ads, however, are unique in that they were created by talented Granite School District students as part of an annual district wide bus ad contest. Each ad brings attention to a specific program offered by the district, such as graphic arts, nursing or aviation. Friday’s event at Skyline High School will showcase the winning entry from the previous contest and award the winner, a Skyline graduate, with a $250 gift card. Students in Skyline’s advanced graphics class will join the event to get an idea of how they can move their work to the professional level.
