April 30 marked a very important and successful day for Highland High. Comcast helped take part in a large-scale volunteer project opened to the public and students to help fix up and add new things and parts to the school. Volunteers were given a free shirt, breakfast and lunch, student volunteers were given this along with the option of an IPad mini Wireless Beats by Dre headphones, Xbox One and a PS4.

Graduation is the mark of any student’s life and can help aid incredibly later in life with jobs as well as independence. For students at Highland High, according to Audrey Hall, secretary to the principal, independence was already underway for the 2016 class. Graduation was just the tipping point.
