Vandalism/Tree Damage

(West Jordan, UT) – The West Jordan Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating suspect(s) regarding damages to $40,000 in trees. 

Since July 24, 2016, in the area of 2200 West from 7800 South to 9000 South, including Veterans Memorial Park, West Jordan City has had over 60 trees deliberately damaged by unknown suspects.  Many of the trees damaged to the point of needing to be replaced.

The West Jordan Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspects as well as reporting suspicious behavior regarding the damage.

A reward of $750 has been put in place regarding information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspect(s).
